The Libertarian Party of New York State Committee will vote for a Presidential stand-in candidate in 2024 for the Libertarian Party nominee for President. The Libertarian National Convention 2024 will be held in late May 2024, while the independent petitioning period in New York takes place between March and Mary 2024. As a result, the LPNY State Committee will need to select a placeholder candidate, who will have the ability to withdraw and be replaced by the candidate chosen at the National Convention.
