Libertarian Advocates of New York
The Libertarian Advocates of New York ("LANY") was a proposed restructuring of the Libertarian Party of New York's Free Libertarian Party, Inc. corporate structure. Since the Libertarian Party of New York obtained ballot access in 2018, a new set of rules was created and the Libertarian Party of New York Interim State Committee was established to lead the political entity.
On July 7, 2019, the remaining corporate structure of the Free Libertarian Party Inc. chose the name "Libertarian Advocates of New York" for which to transition the corporate entity. The corporate entity's bylaws went under review and significant changes were rejected by the State Committee. A dissolution option was also under consideration. A special convention was held November 10, 2019, in which the membership voted to dissolve the Free Libertarian Party, Inc.
