A meeting of the Libertarian Party of New York was held on September 11, 1972.
- Vice Chair Mel Hirschowitz resigned and Andrea Millen was elected to take his place.
- Greenwich Village Libertarian Club was chartered.
- Mid Hudson Libertarian Club was chartered.
- FLP News, October 1972: "The resignation of Mel Hirshowitz, Vice Chairperson of the FLP was accepted. Committeeperson-at-large, Andrea Millen, was elected to fill this office. The now vacant committeeperson-at-large position will be filled at the next State Committee meeting. The Committee also chartered two FLP clubs--The Greenwich Village Libertarian Club and the Mid-Hudson Libertarian Club."
