The Genesee County Libertarian Party is a former local affiliate of the Libertarian Party of New York. The affilaite was formed as a chapter was formed on June 8, 2013 after succeeding from the Greater Rochester Libertarian Party, after a vote passed on January 21, 2013. The affiliate failed to be certified to continue as an affiliate of the Libertarian Party of New York on March 31, 2021.

History

In 2013, Phil Ricci led the formation of the chapter. Several of the chapter's candidates ran for Batavia City Council. In 2019, they formed an ICO under the new state party rules.
