Kalish Morrow is a sitting Councilmember and former Mayor for the City of Hanford. Shortly after taking her seat on city council, the mayor at the time, Francisco Ramirez, switched parties to become a Libertarian. In mid 2021, the council elected to make an appointment to fill a soon to be empty city council seat. Council appointed Amanda Saltray, who also went on to reregister as a Libertarian giving the city of Hanford a Libertarian majority on council.
She sits as a board member on the League of Cities: San Joaquin Division where she was appointed to one of their Legislative Committees regarding Environmental Quality to promote control at the local level through lobbying in Sacramento.
She is the former Hanford Rep for the Libertarian Party of Kings County and sat as an At-Large Member of the Libertarian Party of California Executive Committee. She had been a member of the Libertarian Party since 2016, when she ran for Hanford City Council the first time. She formerly owned a small business in downtown Hanford, California: The Soaking Tub. She is the former President of the now defunct non-profit Heart of Hanford, as well its founder. She is married and has two children.
She was a delegate seated with the delegation of the Libertarian Party of California at the 2022 National Convention. On Feb. 20th, 2023 she re-registered to No Party Preference.

Kalish Morrow announced her intent to run for Hanford City Council District B on May 3, 2019. Kenneth Brent Olsen was her Campaign Manager and Jillian Olsen was her Campaign Treasurer. She was sworn in in December of 2020 after beating the incumbent.
She was selected as Vice Mayor in December of 2021. An early reorganization took place in March of 2021 and she was selected as Mayor.

Ideology
Kalish Morrow is a classical liberal. A former Democrat she was drawn to the Libertarian Party by Ron Paul's presidential campaign in 2012.
