Austin Wade Petersen (born February 19, 1981) is a producer, writer, political activist, and commentator from Missouri. He is the founder of the Libertarian Republic, an online news publisher.

2016 Presidential Campaign

On September 6, 2015, Petersen ran for President of the United States, seeking the Libertarian Party nomination. He finished as the runner-up on the second ballot, losing to Gary Johnson.
