Talk:Libertarian Youth Caucus
"Unofficial" Youth Wing
If you do not feel my change best describes what you wish to say please do edit - the former phrasing was causing some confusion as if there was some recognition of any caucus as an "unofficial X wing." I understand that wasn't the intent so I hope my edit clarified things. If you want to retain the original phrasing, perhaps clarify by saying "and considers itself to be the unofficial youth wing of the LP."CarynAnnHarlos (talk) 14:28, 28 November 2022 (CST)
"Official" Role in the LP
Caucuses do not have official roles in the LP at this time and there are no plans to change that, and it would then have to be open to all caucuses including any competing "youth" caucuses. This is not something that is planned. Official "groups" would be committees under the control and direction of the LNC including the selection of its leadership. That is not the case with caucuses. The LNC can often partner with caucuses, but that is not making them "official" - this terminology can be very unintentionally misleading.
