Sasha Cohen is currently a member of the Dekalb County Affiliate of the Libertarian Party of Illinois (LPIL).
Libertarian Background
Cohen became active in the LPIL in 2020, attending the state convention and being chosen as a delegate to the 2020 National Convention. He has run for office twice, in 2020 and 2021, winning his race on April 6th, 2021 and becoming City Clerk of the City of Dekalb.
In addition to his elected office, Cohen has been a speechwriter, strategist, and social media associate for Vermin Supreme, and has worked for the campaigns of Ian Peak, Ashley Shade, Spike Cohen and more.
