Timeline

  • April 22, 1972 - first meeting of the LPNY, held at the Williams Club in Manhattan and chaired by Ed Clark.
  • May 21, 1972 - second meeting of the LPNY. Other officers are elected.
  • July 16, 1972 - meeting held, Jerome Klasman takes over as Chair.
  • September 11, 1972 - meeting held.
  • September 17, 1972 - meeting, in which a Platform Committee is established.
  • November 10, 1972 - meeting held.
  • November 12, 1973 - meeting held.
  • January 9, 1973 - meeting held.
  • January 22, 1973 - meeting held. The Libertarian Abortion Action Group and the Bronx Libertarian Club are chartered.
  • February 11, 1973 - meeting held.
  • March 30—April 1, 1973 - first LPNY convention, Andrea Millen is elected Chair.
