David Cox was a Libertarian Party historian and social media volunteer who created the George Quillies and Day 1/Day 4 of the Convention Meme.
From 2018, David Cox had been conducting an ongoing research project into the Libertarian Party of New York of the mid-1990s. He interviewed past and present Libertarian Party members such as Bob Schulz, Joseph Brennan, Jeff Russell, Bob Goodman, Tamara Clark and Perry Willis.
As of April 2022, he no longer wants to be associated with the Libertarian Party or LPedia.
