John Phillips Jr. is a Libertarian from Decatur, Illinois. He is the former Region 6 Representative of the Libertarian National Committee and chair of the Libertarian Party of Macon County.

2020 Campaign for Vice-President
On July 6, 2018, Phillips selected to be Kim Ruff's Vice-Presidential running mate for the Libertarian nomination for President in 2020.[1]
On January 11, 2020, Phillips and Ruff withdrew from the race.[2]
