While it is useful to know who was the chair and the executive director at the meeting, there really is nothing substantive here that makes this meeting notable. And 80% of the content looks like trolling. Just silly. The libertarian who wrote it in 2007 IS a cool guy, but I think he was ticked off. So I'm sure he'd be happy to see it go too!

Haven't studied the formal "Article for Deletion" process yet, so just putting it out there. LP-1979 (talk) 19:48, 25 May 2017 (UTC)

Maybe Not

This appears to be a personal commentary on the meeting. I think commentaries about meetings from a particular perspective are a legitimate type of article. In some cases they should even be considered "documents". For example, there might be an article in LP News describing what happened at a recent meeting. Some LNC Regional Representatives have made a practice of writing reports after they attend a meeting for the benefit of the states in their region. The Manual of Style subsection on "Standard Structure for Articles on Various Subjects" specifically mentions links to such documents as an appropriate subsection for articles about meetings.

The odd thing about this particular "report" is that it appears to be the perspective of somebody who has no official position and isn't writing for any existing publication -- it is a personal report that was, as far as we know, only posted here. Is there a place for that in LPedia? Maybe.

And since this article appears to be the only one of this type, and it was written 12 years ago and not significantly modified since, maybe it would even make sense to consider it a "historical document"!

But if we decide to keep it we should probably at least rename it, so it isn't confused with the normal series of meeting summary articles.
