Libertarian Party of Atlanta
Ryan helped to found the Libertarian Party of Atlanta in late 2016. He was a delegate for Georgia at the National Convention 2018.

Libertarian Party of Georgia
Ryan started off as an Executive Committee member, elected in 2017. Due to his effort and success in getting affiliates started across the state, the Executive Committee elected to make him Vice-Chair when Doug Craig stepped down in August of 2017. He was re-elected at convention in February of 2018. He was elected to Chair in March of 2019.
