A term invented by early Libertarian Party critic, and founder of the Libertarian Party Radical Caucus, Samuel Edward Konkin III, to refer derogatorily to anarchist involved in political action. Specifically:

Partyarch: "Anarchists" who have rejected the State (head of the octopus) only to embrace its tentacle, a political party.
