Rose is survived by his children: Elizabeth Rose, Cindy Canty (Jerome), and David Rose. He was also survived by his longtime companion, Denise McCann, who provided him with comfort and companionship. In addition to his children, he leaves behind his grandchildren: John Anderson II, Katie Anderson, Jocelyn Silver, and Gordon Silver.
