Leonard J. "Len" Karpinski is an engineer and Libertarian Party activist. He was the 18th Chair of the Alaska Libertarian Party from 1993 to 2001.
Biography
Len Karpinski is a Libertarian Party activist and engineering designer who has lived in Anchorage, Alaska since 1986.
He has over 30 years of experience in engineering design, working with large oil companies and utilities across the state. His work includes electrical, instrumentation, and fire and gas alarm upgrades and improvements. Karpinski has held positions at NANA Worley Parsons, Fluor Daniel, Gilbert/Commonwealth, Picatinny Arsenal—ARDEC, and Tobyhanna Army Depot.
Karpinski has been an active member of the Libertarian Party throughout most of his life in Alaska and is also a member of the Fully Informed Jury Association (FIJA). He served as the state party secretary. He was the 18th Chair of the Alaska Libertarian Party from 1993 to 1997 and served as Vice-Chair from 1990 to 1991. Len has participated in several political campaigns as a Libertarian and is now running for state legislature.
Karpinski holds an Associate of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Pennsylvania State University, Hazleton.
