Guy Wilson is a Libertarian who in 1994 ran for the House of Representatives in a Los Angeles area district and received 22% of the vote in a 2-way race against a Democrat, possibly a party record. He works in the United States Merchant Marine. He is a plain-spoken, iconoclastic African American man who has on occasion been known to wear a Scottish kilt.
