Gideon Macleish is a Libertarian Party member, writer, public speaker, homesteader and homeschooler. Active in politics for over 20 years, he "found" the Libertarian Party in 2002, as his family came under increasing scrutiny for their political views and they failed to find refuge in the major political parties.
Macleish is currently in the process of preparing several position papers that he hopes to present at future party conventions, as well as a "parental rights act" for parents who have been unjustly victimized by Child Protective Services in various states.
