Gary Edward Johnson (May 1, 1953 - February 5, 2022) served multiple terms on the Libertarian National Committee since 1983 and the Texas State Libertarian Executive Committee (SLEC).  He ran as the LP nominee for U. S. Senate in Texas in 1990.  He has also served with the Travis County Libertarian Party.
