Document:National Email Monday Message 30 August 2010 Travis Irvine's Quiz Across America video
August 30, 2010
Dear Friend of Liberty,
Today is my birthday! I've already received a great gift in the form of a video from the Travis Irvine for Congress campaign. (Actually I'm not sure they intended it as a gift, but I'm pleased all the same.)
The video shows the candidate volunteering for the Quiz Across America door hanger project in his neighborhood and interacting with voters. Please visit our home page to see the video.
If you want to help me celebrate too, order some Quiz Across America door hangers today! Ordering instructions are here. (Note, you're not expected to interact with voters like Travis did. Our door hanger volunteers usually put them on doors without knocking, and that's fine.)
Then, take a look at our list of over 800 Libertarian Party candidates, and consider making a campaign contribution to one or two who have campaign websites listed.
Our candidates are truly the heroes of the Libertarian Party, and are the face of the party to the public. Many of them end up spending their own money for most of their campaign outreach materials, in addition to all the time and effort they put in.
Like many candidates, Travis is currently raising funds to help pay for things like yard signs to help build his name recognition and presence in his district. In July he polled at 10%, which is about the highest I've seen for a Libertarian Party candidate for U.S. Congress running against both a Republican and Democrat.
Travis Irvine has been an especially entertaining candidate with his weekly video series. Visit his website here.
By the way, your LPHQ staff distributed 3,200 of our door hangers at a rally in Washington D.C. last Saturday. You can read more about it here.
We're asking you to order 200 door hangers and start putting them up in your neighborhood as soon as you get them. We don't have a fancy-looking order form up yet, but instructions on how to order are here.
Get some Quiz Across America door hangers today!
Sincerely,
Wes Benedict
