The monthly meeting of the Libertarian Party of Denton County Texas was held on Saturday, 15 October 2005, at 15:05, at TGI Friday's in Lewisville, Texas.

James Gholston, Vice Chair
David Wallace Croft, Treasurer
John Steen, Librarian
Mike Ellsberry, Past Chair

Reports were given by

John Shuey was appointed Parliamentarian.

The following motion was made by John Shuey and approved: We adopt a resolution to encourage the SLEC representatives to vote in favor of supporting the FairTax.

The following motion was made by David Wallace Croft and approved: We hereby adopt the American Bison as the official mascot of the Denton County Libertarian Party.

The following motion was made by David Wallace Croft and approved: to hire an LPTX-Denton Executive Director with a 10% commission of all revenue collected during the period of employment, to be hired using the recommended process described in the Nolo.com book on forming a non-profit corporation.

The meeting was adjourned at roughly 16:30
