David Allen Monroe (September 13, 1977 - February 12, 2024) was a Libertarian from Pearland, Texas, who served as a member of the Texas State Libertarian Executive Committee representing District 4 from 2016-2018.
Early Life and Career
Monroe was born in Crockett, Texas on September 13, 1977. He graduated from Pecos High School and received his Bachelor's degree from High Tech Institute in Phoenix, AZ. He spent his career in Computer Tech working for Sice, Everyone's Internet, Lopez Negrete, and NASA at Johnson Space Center. Monroe was a member of Sugarland Bible Church and served as a Hawk patrol leader for Trail Life Troop-11. His passions in life included his children, hunting, fishing and camping.

Monroe was a member of the Texas State Libertarian Executive Committee representing District 4 from 2016-2018.
Personal Life and Death
Monroe is survived by his children, Sarah Brook Monroe (mother, Christyl Diedrick), and sons, Samuel Allen Monroe and Corbett Daniel Monroe (mother, Amanda Fleming Monroe); parents, John and Karen Monroe of Gonzales, Louisiana; sister, Michelle Lee Strain (husband, Ed Strain) of Pecos, Texas; nephew, Gage; and niece, Larkin. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Norman and Barbara Monroe of Monahans, Texas; and maternal grandparents, Melvin and Evelyn Adickes of Conroe, Texas.
