The 2008 national Libertarian Party Platform Committee was responsible for rebuilding the Platform after the National Convention 2006, also known as the Portland Massacre. Brian Holtz wrote a comprehensive Memoir on the work of the Committee.

In-Person Meeting
The committee met in person on February 15-16, 2008 at the Mohave Room, Hilton Garden Inn, 1340 W. Warm Springs Road, Henderson, NV 89014 on Saturday and the Santiago Room, Sunset Station, 1301 W. Warm Springs Road, Henderson, NV 89014 during the same time as the Libertarian State Leadership Alliance.
