Meeting on 21 October 2024, the Libertarian Party of California Executive Committee decided that the 2025 state convention should be held 22-23 February in Walnut Creek. However, this information was not sent to members generally until 13 November 2024, providing less than the 120 days notice required in the bylaws. Several members appealed, asking that new convention dates be set so that sufficient notice could be provided.
