Resolved at the March 31-April 1, 1984 LNC Meeting: 

EQUAL TIME RULE: The National Party, its elected and appointed officials acting in its behalf, and candidates nominated by it, shall refrain from invoking or threatening to invoke "the equal time" rule, "reasonable access rule". or any other Federal Communication Commission rule or any coercive instrument to obtain broadcast air time for any party candidate or spokesperson on any privately owned and financed (i.e. non-government) broadcast facility.
