The Southern Libertarian Messenger was a monthly newsletter issued by John T. Harllee, one of the founders of the South Carolina Libertarian Party and long-time SCLP Secretary. The newsletter is said to have begun publication several years before the party's creation in 1975 and ceased after Harllee's death in 1994.
