Michael Seebeck is an activist and party leader, currently affiliated with the Libertarian Party of Colorado. He informally goes simply by "Seebeck", because as he puts it, "When my wife yells, 'Mike!' in a crowd, a dozen heads turn. But when she yells, 'Seebeck!' everyone knows she means me." His close friends and respected colleagues also refer to him by his last name and sometimes his first name. He has been married to his wife, Lidia, for 23 years.
